Join Us at Camp Coddington: Open for Summer Fun!

Posted by CRCC in Coddington Road Community Center Blog

Camp Coddington Ithaca NY Summer Camp

Coddington Road Community Center continues our tradition of adapting to meet the needs of the community. Current programming meets strict guidelines with regard to cleaning and sanitizing, daily health screening and limited group size.
To register for summer camp, please visit www.coddingtonroad.org/camp. If you don’t see a week listed, please call us at (607) 277-1434 or email CRCCyouthprograms@coddingtonroad.org to be added to our waitlist.

Here is a sample of our preventative measures to keep campers and staff safe:

– Camp families select a staggered arrival time to ensure social distancing at the check-in station.
– All campers, counselors and CITs undergo a daily health screening before being allowed onsite.
– Camp groups are small in size and will not exceed New York’s current recommended group size. At this time, group sizes will not exceed 15 campers.
– Camp groups are static for the entire week; all campers and staff remain together.
– Shared materials, equipment and surfaces are frequently sanitized between use.
– Staff members must wear facial coverings while at Coddington and campers are encouraged.
– Campers are encouraged to play together, while still maintaining social distance. Camp groups utilize a number of fun, low-to-no contact games and activities daily.
– Extra hand-washing stations have been installed and each camp group is equipped with alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
– And more!

Please join us in wishing Karen Lane a happy retirement. Over the past 22 years, Karen has touched the lives of many children and their families. We thank Karen for her dedication to early childhood education and the Coddington Road Community Center.
